These are the rules for using ChatterTape (the app at chattertape.com and its notifications and emails). By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
You must be at least 18 years old. By using ChatterTape you confirm that you are.
ChatterTape is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi. Kalshi is a trademark of its owner. Your Kalshi account, trades and any money you put at risk are entirely between you and Kalshi.
ChatterTape shows what other people say in public chat rooms and keeps score of it. It is not financial, investment or trading advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Past results, win rates, Edge and profit figures do not predict future ones, and no profits are promised. Any decision you make, and any loss that follows, is your own responsibility. Use it at your own risk.
Everything in the app comes from public chat messages, trade cards and badges that traders chose to post, read automatically. It may be wrong, delayed, incomplete, misread, or posted by people who only show their wins. Estimated entries and estimated cards are estimates. Scores are about what people said, not verified trades. Check anything that matters against Kalshi itself.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and refuse service to anyone, without a refund where the rules were broken on purpose.
ChatterTape is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be slow, down, or wrong, and features may change, be removed or stop entirely at any time, including because a data source becomes unavailable. We make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, ChatterTape and its owner are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by wrong, delayed or missing information. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Kalshi traders who would rather not appear in ChatterTape can ask to be removed at chattertape.com/optout.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will say so in the app when a change matters. Using ChatterTape after a change means you accept it.
